ADIR Syria, a Syrian insurer that provides a broad range of insurance products, was established by the Byblos Bank Group in 2007. The main shareholders are Byblos Invest Bank S.A.L., Byblos Bank Syria S.A., Adonis Insurance and Reinsurance Co. S.A.L. (ADIR), and approximately 20 prominent Syrian businesspeople. The Company operates from its Head Office in Damascus, offices in Aleppo and Homs, and through Byblos Bank Syria’s branch network.
