How do I add a new card?
To add a card, take a photo of your VISA credit card or enter the full card number and expiry date manually for a VISA debit card. Follow the steps and your card will be digitized in seconds.

Can I delete a card from the App?
You can delete a card at any time. This will not affect the status of your physical card and you can always add your card again as long as it is active.

What do I do when my physical card is renewed or replaced?
In case of renewal or replacement, you need to delete your old card off the app and add the new one.

Why can’t I install the App on my mobile?
ByblosPay is available only on NFC-equipped Android devices with operating system version 4.4 (KitKat) or higher.

Why can’t I add my card to the App?
ByblosPay is currently available through Android platforms provided only for Byblos Bank customers that hold an active VISA credit or debit card.

What do I do if my App isn’t working?
Try uninstalling, then reinstalling the App again. If that doesn’t work, call +961 1 20 50 50 or 1650 for help.

How do I pay?
When you are about to make a purchase, make sure the NFC option is On from your device settings before approaching the cashier. Locate the contactless symbol () and hold your phone to the reader. When the green lights flash, the secure transaction  started to be processed so that you can take back your mobile device awaiting the processing completion. Check our tutorial for more info.

What does ‘Default Card’ mean?
Your default card is the first card you add to ByblosPay and is the main card used for payment. You can still choose to pay with a card other than your default by swiping left or right from the main page.

How can I manage my cards?
From the side menu, you can view and manage all the cards you have digitized on ByblosPay. You can rename your card, change your default card, delete or add a new card.

What do I do if my phone is lost or stolen?
Call +961 01 205050 or 1650 to deactivate your added card(s) on the app. You will still be able to use your physical cards to make normal payments.

Will my statement show payments made using ByblosPay?
Yes. All transactions will appear on the card statement like any other transaction made on the same credit card.

Can I use ByblosPay abroad?
Yes. You can use ByblosPay wherever you see the contactless symbol   locally or around the world.

If I get too close to a contactless terminal, is there any risk of my card getting accidentally charged for someone else’s purchases?
No. We have designed ByblosPay to ensure that the cardholder is always in control. A terminal is only active to receive a payment once you tap on Pay Now, and your phone must be held right in front of the card reader for a few seconds for the payment to be processed.

Password and Fingerprint Security
Using ByblosPay is just as safe as using your card to pay. To protect your app, you will always need to have a 4-digit app code created. You can use your fingerprint instead to protect the app if your smartphone supports this feature (check your phone’s settings).
